Leave It Green, a student environmental organization, was allotted $71,470 on Sept. 23 by President Robert Smith from the university's overall budget to be used for the Green Fund.
Last year, Leave It Green introduced the idea of the Green Fund. It proposed that $5 be added to every full-time undergrad student's tuition in order to help make SRU a more environmentally friendly campus.…

The SRU Counseling Center is reaching out to students that may have been encouraged to quit smoking by the ban on campus.
The ban, which is a result of the Pennsylvania Clean Indoor Air Act, started on campus on Sept. 11. The act states that smoking in most public places, including indoor and outdoor areas on campus is prohibited.…

The lack of computers in Resident Halls E and F, due to unknown delays in delivery, has caused an inconvenience for many of the buildings' residents.
