Student discovers underwater classroom

After that, the pairs did “blind” laps; one person removed the mask and was led around the pool by a partner. Just watching them made me a bit nervous because I know if I were to try it, I’d probably end up forgetting that I couldn’t inhale through my nose and choking on pool water.
Then the group returned to the surface. Once up, the class went over how to get out of the gear and back into it while in the water. These skills may come in handy if the students decide to use their knowledge outside of class someday.
I really had fun watching the scuba class this week. For those of you who would also rather do something fun and unique than attempt to play basketball, options such as skin and scuba diving class may make your semester a little less miserable.
