However, they find it much easier to achieve this goal with a guy that makes a quick pass at them, looking to "hookup" with them within the first 10 minutes that they meet. Simply put, they find the nice guys "boring."

Yes I said it, the one word that haunts many of us. Nice guys attempt to find a stable relationship with a girl that simply likes them for who they are at face value, not someone who puts on a facade to get what he wants.

Many girls just cannot handle the fact that nice guys are too simple and straightforward, because many females just seem to crave drama. Here's a reality check. Real life really isn't as exciting on a day-to-day basis as is portrayed on television. Of course, there are those memorable moments between guys and girls that are never forgotten, but overall, not a whole lot of changes take place each day.

Whenever a girl becomes a full-fledged adult fresh out of college, she somehow seems to learn the type of guy she truly should be with. But no matter what the age, you can never truly make up for lost time. I can't change female perception, especially considering I can't even begin to understand girls, let alone analyze why they make the choices they make. However, I want to tell the "nice guys" that attend our fine university to hang in there and say, "My time will come."

No matter how difficult it may be to see the girl of your dreams fall for the guy that came back to the dorm drunk last Friday night after making out with three girls, remember that there is light at the end of this tunnel. Remember, you are not alone and your actions and choices will be vindicated someday. Remember, the last man to finish the race is the last man standing on the track. I think my luck is starting to change as we speak.
